Our mission:
Make advanced control practical for the 95% of industrial processes that still rely on PID
Modern industry runs on control systems, yet most applications still rely on decades-old Proportional-Integral-Derivative control technology. Our mission is to make advanced control practical, scalable, and accessible across the vast majority of industrial systems.
why now?
Industrial systems are becoming more complex, more dynamic, and more energy-constrained than ever before.
Energy costs are rising.
Processes must adapt to increasing variability.
Automation is expanding into systems never designed for it.
Yet most control systems still rely on PID – a technology developed nearly a century ago.
While advanced control methods exist, they remain too complex and costly to implement for most real-world applications. As a result, the vast majority of industrial systems – representing trillions of dollars of infrastructure – still operate using legacy control approaches.
Industry doesn’t need more complexity.
It needs advanced control that is simple enough to deploy everywhere.
Founder and CEO
PhD in Advanced Control Systems | 20+ years across aerospace, robotics, energy, and industrial automation
An aerospace engineer by training, Obadah completed a PhD in Advanced Control Systems focused on bringing high-performance aerospace control methods into energy systems. Over the past two decades he has worked across robotics, automation, energy systems, nuclear, and AI control technology, developing and deploying complex engineering systems in both large organisations and startups.
Across these industries, one pattern became clear: despite decades of research in advanced control, most industrial systems still rely on PID because modern control methods are too complex and costly to deploy.
He founded Saliqo to change that – creating a new generation of control technology that delivers aerospace-grade performance while being simpler to implement and maintain than traditional control systems.
